If you have two RAMs, remove one and restart the window. If the computer works, your RAM may be dead. Replace with a new one.

I recently just fixed my dell 700m by replacing a faulty RAM with a new (and bigger) one.

The back door Trojan may be an incidental finding. Restart your computer with a bootable CD (try Bart PE) or USB drive and remove it manually.
