how to send emails in chinese to china

Mail client in usa: yahoo email composer
send-to: china

The email is not readable in china after recieving.

We tried to change the encoding, but with no luck. The encondings tried:

GB2312
GB18030
UTF-8

Does anyone know what is the default deconding in china so we may choose when sending mails in USA, with an engilish browser?

Or does anyone can help?
