AnyDVD and DVDclone question, help.

I use anyDVD and DVDclone to rip DVDs, but sometimes, it does not work on some DVD, the error messege says certain file can not be read, do I need to upgrade the software or the DVD is encripted in a way that anyDVD does not work? What kind of software are you guys using?
