DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocl) is use to assign ip to client, such as your pc. Your router need support this service, and you enable it on the server. and config your own pc to use DHCP to obtain ip address.

Default, the router will be configed as use DHCP. you may reboot your router to get it back to work. Redo the sync to see if it works.
