Windows key + E not working

After I installed/uninstalled a Chinese software, all my application icons on my desktop disappeared, but all documents on my desktop still remain. Also, my windows key + E is not working any more. The other windows shortcut keys such as windows key + R, windows key + F are still fine. I googled web and did not find fix on windows key + E. Anybody knows how to restore it? Thanks.
