two ways to solve it

1. install chinese language in xp english version. install chinese input method or download njstar. You can read, write chinese character. internally english and chinese version are same, but not interface.
2. use magic partition to create new partition and install chinese version in new partition. your current system still in your system.
do not install two system in one partition, otherwise nobody knows what result you will get.
