Check the CPU temperature at the BIOS. Usually it is around 40-60 degrees. If the temperature keep rising to 65-70 deg. then you should clean up the dust in the fan and heat sink.
If the machine have been using for over three years, then it might be the mother board problem, check the cooling fan ( if any ) on the main board and the display card.
