Thanks for：how to recover WIN98 in HP OMNIBOOK XE3GC laptop

Thanks for the link. However, the problem is that there is always an error occurs when the scaning phase(initaition phase) and led to dead of screen if I use a regular WIN98 disc(not with the recovery disc from factor).Could you pl give me any hint on this issue. During my trying, I did: 1, format C; with a setup disc of win98. 2, boot conputer in floopy disc with help of CD-rom. and I always met the error I mentioned.
