Thanks for your suggestions.
My computer is 2-year old, so Dell wouldn't help me anymore. My CD drive worked well before.
I have open my computer at 10 times and replaced with a new IDE cable and a new CD drive. Still doesn't work. It can only opens and closes.
I have no idea what to do next.
