1. Can apply state Medicaid for free medical care right after the green card. Many states have this benefits.
2. Apply for citizenship after five years, if knowing no English, apply as disabled who would be waived for the test.
3. Apply for SSI right after becoming a US citizen.
4. Now you have SSI income from $600 to $800 monthly, you have medicare and medicaid.
