This is a misconception

There are two types of 专业 选手

1: proprietary --- meaning they use their own money, instead of mangaing other peple's money. Great examples here are Jane Street, HRT, and Citadel Security

2: Hedge fund/client capital --- meaning they manage client's money and most of time paid by a perctange of profit

The return from #1 above "far" outpace the average retail individual investors by a huge margin.
