Cruises really cannot be generalized because each line has its own style, and even each ship within each line has her own characters, on top of that you add the itinerary variation, age of the ship, (thus determine the price, thus determine the clientele...)

If you pick a "wrong" ship (wrong for your own expectation), you would feel like a prisoner!

Nothing is more important to pick a "right" ship that fits one's needs and style.
