When you apply H1, it is IRS law to publish/post this H1 application form (which has salary info on it) in the public area, so people cam know it and notice IRS if they think something is wrong. I worked in 2 firms, they all did that. It is by law. I am not sure why your company does not do that. I think my co-worker told the boss she has better coomunication skill than me when I was just working there for a week, it is mean.
