I am not in accounting

I am not in accounting and I don't have an MBA, but it does not mean that I have no financial background nor I don't have friends who have gone through such a process and become very successful in financial services areas.

You have to admit that accounting does give you the chance to pursue other areas in financial services, while the nursing would really limit your opportunities here.

To succeed in ANY area in financial services, you would need to work extremely hard and pay much more than others do. If you envy people when they get $300K bonus in February, you probably want to ask them how much they hate their jobs in those all-nighters.
