If you are in accounting field, after being reaching the manager level, you normally would have 3 choices ahead:

1. Continue climbing corporate ladder. Which would give you an easy life style and reasonably good and stable income.

2. Jump to private sector to be assistant controller, then climb from there. Just switches normally boost your income to a significant higher level.

3. Go for an MBA or a master in financial engineering, which is really the key to open the door to other financial service areas.
