Treat golf and lunch like work

Treat golf and lunch like work. Work doesn't have to be fun. It's great if you like your work and your job brings money for you to spend, but I think most of us just work for money and enjoy our time after work. There is nothing wrong with that.

So if you can make yourself enjoy golf, lunch, work, then do it. If you can't, enjoy your paycheck. If you don't feel it's worth it, see if you can get another position somewhere else.
