I appreciate the advice from both 天水18 and doremifa.

Honestly I did my first rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and the Surgery department does hang pictures of their chief residents in the hall. -I don't know about other department or other hospital.

I do believe 天水18 is a good physician from a famous hospital. I also believe what doremifa says regarding work hours and the attitude of nurses. It varied a lot from hospital to hospital.

Anyway, thanks to both of you for taking time helping the new comers.
