I am an anesthesiologist, I am sure anesthesiologists can not make 400k, at least 80% of anesthesiologist can not expect that number. And it sure sounds strange a physician would believe and spread this kind of estimate. I am curious--what's your specialty?
Six weeks of vacation sounds a lot to outsiders. But be realistic, for most physicians, adding up the hours beyond 8 hours a day, the night calls, the weekend calls, the holidays calls , the hours are more than the 6 weeks vocation. Besides, a lot of physician do not get 6 weeks vocation a year, or can not afford the risk of losing patients.
