I have the same situation like yours. I requested more $ but my boss just doesn't want to even though he keeps saying I am very good. So I am looking for another job now. The employment market is free, as you know, so if you are not happy and you have a better chance, you can leave your current job. I don't want to argue with my boss anymore, it just wastes my time.
