you know people are very different. Sometimes I was amazed by that when I talked to different person.

BBS is public place, anyone could posts. So you can't expect 100% feedbacks that agree with you and appreciate your work. Just let it be.

I think at least 90% readers know what a great job you have done and they appreciate your help, including me.

So, if you have time, you may defend yourself. If you are busy, just neglect it.
