at most take one morning. You can start and ask your colleague to finish it if you like. Making good connection is much much more important. do not understand y some people just do not see it. Ok, say this way, if your boss agrees to pay u $500, u probably will do it. To me $500/morning is much smaller than having a good connection with your former boss. U did not realize his/her potential value. One reason for that is u probably do not have friends with a position like ur boss and so u cannot see things from his/her angle (i can be very wrong on this).
