First, you need to emphasize that you appreciate the job opportunity and are willing to be flexible. Second, let them know that It is a package deal. You are not comfortable to talk about salary without knowing other things, such as benefits, bonus, sponsorship of visa or green card.  Then, let them offer you a reasonable number based on the job responsibility and budgeted salary range.
