need more senior resource??

大家帮忙指点下. 2 个多星期前拿到一个小的软件公司offer. 在那差不多同期, 还有 2 个我更想去的opportunity 正在INTERVIEW PROCESS 中. 昨天同时得到那个更想去的 ON SITE INTERVIEW 的 FEEDBACK. Surprisingly , they use the same reason to turn me down :" we think xxx is an excellent candidate, but we feel we need a more senior resource".

问题是:

1. 我的工作经验, TITILE, 和 PAST SALARY HISTORY, 都是senior level 的, 自己感觉INTERVIEW 得也顺利, 大部分题都答上来了.  need a more senior resource 是否只是一个普遍拒绝的理由?

2. 我感觉自己可能表现得过于EARNEST 想去了,  THEY ASK DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? I SAID I THINK I CAN HANDLE THE JOB SUPERBLY AND WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY...YOU GUYS ANSWERED MOST OF MY QUESTIONS ALREADY. THANKS!!!  有时候发现太earnest 别人反倒不搭理你`. 大家有没有相同感觉.?
