If you are wroking for a US company

you can ask HR to provide a letter stating that you are working overseas for US interests.  The key is to convince the US boarder control officer that your intention is to live in US - the reason for your green card, otherwise, they can deny your entry.  If you work for a Non-US company, the risk is always there.
