Can you try to

get back to the 财务部门 in the current company?  It would be a lot easier (less disruptive to you current life style), than what you have planned for.   The 公司两个高层有矛盾 is already a few years ago...hopefully won't affect you too much anymore.

Since you don't have kids, I feel your plan would work too if you are very determined.  Take in what your relatives say, but still you have to make the decision for yourself.
