Cann't help you with which direction you should go.  You know the best.  I think try to stay till you find another job would be the best.
At the same time, be diligent on paperwork, documentation, so people won't be able to let you go easily.  Also, if you really have done something wrong, (un-intentionaly), go find the person you have offended to explain or apologize if it is needed.  Since you have a family to support, you have to consider 人在屋檐下，怎能不低头。
Break the hugh task you are facing into small pieces, and try to deal with it one by one.  You will get over it.
