Sorry to hear this. It is pain to face the situation. Take the money, and look for a new job.

You may negotiate with the company, but the chance is slim because the soveivance pay commonly comprises one month salary/per year and the  benefits you are having till the end of association with the company. Your cumulated pensions may be moved to the new company, or  you can  ake out monthly when you are retired in the future.
