不能签字和妥协

 I just experienced the similar thing. It took me almost  one month to file grievance and eventually I won the internal hearing and kept my job. It was really stressful. 

From my instinct, something is going on there. You need to prepare to fight the senior boss. Anything you can remember which is relevant and lead to this incident, write down in chronic order. If possible, get the legal advice.
