The situation: got an offer from a big company in Silicon valley, salary raise about 25%. But where she lives currently is a very nice place with house price much cheaper compared to silicon valley area. When she turned in resignation letter, the boss want to keep her and offer a promotion and some salary raise too, effective immediately.

  What suggestions do XDJMs here have? Should she stay or go for new opportunity? She prefer to stay considering the big house her family can enjoy and good schools her kids attend here. I think she should go for new one.
