Your thoughts are really helpful. I definitely need to do more homework preparing for the next interview.
As for the "thank you note", I did miss it. The interviewer didn't leave me email address, and I didn't think it was appropriate to call her to say thank you. Maybe I should have asked her for the email before I hung up, or should I?
