yes you are right in all elements.

I try not to make myself a specialist, but to develop soft skills and be a creative problem-solver. My current position will give me more opprotunities to develop and practise those skills. yes it takes time to make contribution and be recognized. I think I am on the right track, but still need more efforts to make management and particularly peers to recognize.  My industry is one of those slowing-moving one.
