My point is that when you make more, you may have to spend more, such as parking and clothing.
Therefore, after all the spending are deducted, it wouldn't make a big difference on how much left for saving compared with those who earn less than you.
In addtion, since it's a high-pay job, it may demand more your time, efforts and energy. When those people, who earn less than you, are enjoying sunshine, going fishing or sleeping at home, you are working your ass off at your cubical.
Now, you understand what I am saying, right?
