好马不吃回头草

A friend of mine had encountered similar situation and was eventually pissed off.

The company will ignore the records when they need you, should a difficult time comes, or you have problem with the manager, the company will use the shitty record to attack you again, and you will get hurt for a second time.

So, always remember "好马不吃回头草" as long as you have other options.
