--"an on-site visit such as giving a presentation about your work, your life and how you cope with work from home, such as once or twice a year."

Actually one of my colleagues has suggested me to visit them onsite before, but I didn't like the travel (6 hours one way flight).  Still debating when I should go to see them.  With one trip back to China each year and other small trips (all personal), I'm so tired/scared of flying. :(

--"If possible, you may try to ask for some off-site training opportunities such as conference or corporate university courses etc."

Good idea.  I should ask about his training/conference policy next time.  It could be a tough topic when my company is trying to save every penny. :)

--"Ask him about how he plans your career development in the company (not very useful though;))."

How would you ask about that?  Isn't this like asking for a promotion?

--"you may ask for salary review depending on timing."

Have never done that before.  What are the proper words?
