Job Search After Lay Off

I got laid off from my last job last October, starting looking for jobs immediately, accepted a contractor job, keeping looking, three month later accepted a full time job offer which pays 25% more than my last job. Hanging in there, there will be a ligt at the end of the tunnel. My personal experience, employers like to give jobs to person already have a job, not someone got laid off need a job. Take whatever job you can get first. Goodluck!
