he is gone. And they all miss him like they miss their passed-aw

I finally figure out why they miss him so much. He is a smart guy and is willing to say nice things (nto sure if he actually means it) to all the old men (sr. managers) around here. ONly the ones care about substance would not be fooled by him. Now that he is gone, the left-behind are not that good at this skill, like my boss (awkward in praising others), my friend (quite critical but embedded in sugar), and me (critical and blunt) . The others, though they are cheer leaders, their praises are not very satisfactory for sr. managers. BTW, people like me will never be 宠儿.
