All good sign. At least he doesn't dis like you.
However, treat it as a general personality, means he is a nice people.
It may have nothing to do with whether he will hire you or not.
I did the same way many times after I dismiss a candidate from the office. I just want to show my way of respect people, it has nothing to do whether i will hire him or not.
