招我的product director问了1)what is tech A, 2) why A is better than B. 要答到技术的关键，但只在conceptual level. Question 1 - what other tech questions do I need to be prepared for PM roles in operators, besides tech trends and competitors that you mentioned?

面过tier 1 HW vendors, PLM 嫌我没到system level，They want hands-on engineers. Mktg给我的感觉是在招technical writer - not PMM w/ operating experience, strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership. Question 2 - Maybe I shouldn't spend more time on HW vendors?
