1. blame the others who were in charge of them;--all gone. so no one to cover up now.

2. consider stay and present the case yourself;--this is why I wrote the report so that I don't have to be there. all details are in. My boss and the other friend should be quite clear about all events. I will check with my boss to see if I need to call-in.

3. why did you uncover them at the first place? --not me personally. When those people left, I took over their responsibilities. We have a product review for submission. The mess was uncovered by another department. I happen to be the owner of this part and the ocntact person with that department.
