I helped a former colleague get a job

Today she came to see me. Somehow, I started regretting. Not that she is not qualified. But we had history before and I can't foresee what could happen now that she is back.

BTW, she turned down help from big boss and my boss. I guess at that time, the gredge of being laid-off was still hot.
