奶奶病了, 能申请 Family and Medical Leave 吗?

I want to take unpaid leave for 5 weeks to visit China. Can I apply FMLA leave using the reason that my grandma is very sick? does anyone know any state policy for Missouri. Anyone has suggestion of good reason for Unpaid leave?
