interesting topic: but i do not understand few things...

1. the golden boy provided you with false data -- data inaccurate/incorrect, or samples for the presentation purpose?
2. you prepared the presentation using the above data which will mislead the management IF they believe that's the actual data (i.e. not samples)?
3. with your presentation, did you include the boy's name, department, job title and his part, and your part separated? -- e.g. he is the data analyst owner, and you are the BA?
4. what if the boy calling in for "sick off" tomorrow?
