No, it is recreational diving.

The diving depth is limited to 140 feet.
The most dangerous part is decompresson illness, which
are 1) you rise too fast from deep, the air expansion leads your lung damage.
2) Nitrogen is absorbed to your tissue under high pressure.

If you are cautious, they can be avoided.

Life learning driving, practice is the key.
