Help: about Consulting agreement

I just got an offer as a consultant. But I have concern on the “rights to inventions” on the agreement.

It says “This Section shall apply to all Inventions made or conceived by A in the course of his consultancy with B, whether or not during the hours of consultancy, either solely or jointly with others, during the Term of the consultancy with B and for a period of 1 year after any termination of such consultancy”

Does this mean I can't work for any competitor of B during consultancy and a period of 1 year after termination of consultancy? I did not have consulting experience before. Thank you very much for your advice.
