I think you need to be careful

venting your frustration all out naturally makes you feel good for a while and your manager will be bit more subtle. But that does not mean he has changed. If I were you, I would look for a job and leave this shXt hole. I am preparing myself for the same thing. Once the complaint is up there, you basically have no choice but to leave, unless you know your manager's boss is not satisfied with him and is looking for reasons to get him out.
