Thank you very much for you inputs. I am in Atlanta. Kid is in college. Actually I don't know the laid off package. My boss once said the director would like me to take the lead in an company my coworker is working on. I know my coworker is looking for a job. I just know when he can get an offer. He has been looking for a year.
