Google Adwork Scam - too good to be true
Google Adwork Scam – New Adwork Scam Claims Google is Releasing Jobs Posting Links Online, Telling People They’ll Get Paid.

No, Google Adworks is Not Getting You a Job at Google -- Adworks is a Scam from a Scammer, Not Someone Named Kevin Wallace from ABC News
They do a play on Google’s legitimate advertising program called Adwords — where you pay money to advertise online — and are calling it Google Adworks, saying Google just released jobs and is offering relief in this economy to people who want to make money with them.
It’s all a lie. These scammers that run these program steal money from the credit and debit cards they get — if they promise some kit or application that cost only $2, they’ll take a lot more than that, forcing people to cancel their cards and not get refunds.
Don’t fall for it. Or if you did, try and cancel your card — and leave a comment to warn others.

To add to comment above: 1 – you pay the $1.95 for a 7 day TRIAL. 2) At the end of 7 days your credit/debit card gets charged $79.90 every month. 3) Google is based out of CA., but in the terms and conditions the program is per Utah laws and guidelines. Why is that? At the bottom before their privacy notice and terms & conditions you will see this fine print:
*Google8482; does not endorse or sponsor this site and is in no way affiliated with this offer.
By submitng this form you agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

I know, Rashmi — And ClickBank.com has a lot of these products that people are selling left and right. That’s why my ClickBank account has no money in it — because I refuse to promote these products.

I came across this ad yesterday. I filled up the first page but changed my mind at the second page where credit card information is needed. They kept calling me today trying to convince me to give them a credit card or debit card number. By then, I was convinced that this is a scam. Their number is 201-383-4916. Don’t fall for it.

I did the SAME exact thing as Hunting. Same. Got to the second page, changed my mind, and now this morning, I’ve been getting calls from 201-383-4916. So frustrating.

I really thought Adworks was legit. I’m usually not so naive. The ad popped up while I was logged in my igoogle account, so I went through with the transaction. When I submitted the application I got an error massage that advised that I check my info. I did & tried again with same result.
I did some checking ON Google. Google kept suggesting Adword-never Adwork. That’s when I saw other’s were asking about Adworks & I went up to my bank to get a new bank card sent. I wasn’t sure if the error meant the info didn’t go through & I was safe or if that was just the way it worked. It turns out, that was just the way it worked.
I’m glad I went to the bank that day, because there were 2 attempted transactions that didn’t get through, because my bank was on alert for strange transactions on my old bank card. One was for over $1,000 at some place called Corbelas & the other was for about $315 for Soccerpost.com.
Greed is usually the draw & it was for this too. I thought it was really Google & I trusted that I could make some easy money.
If google were paying such good money to work from home, why would they be concerned over less than $2 for S&H? There will be thousands of other scams to come & each getting more clever because people will be getting more cautious.
If it seems too good to believe, it probably is.

I did the exact same thing. Got to the second page, changed my mind. Now last night I received 2 calls from 201-383-4916. So frustrating.

whoops.. forgot to mention I got “interviewed” by a gentleman with “PMI” and they asked me to make a list:
5 short term financial goals, 5 long time financial goals.. my credit card balance verses credit line as well as goals in 3 months, 6 months and 12 months…they claimed to be looking for individuals who were seriously in debt so they would have the drive to do the job. Also, They want someone with a good story so they can be used as part of their “testimonial” page . You get interviewed then sent to another person for “approval”.. then will could be accepted and assigned a personal assistant to hold your hand through the process in order to make the most money possible. He also directed me to some other sites to show other’s successes. Then I started getting phone calls… and saw this site. Thank you for putting this up. I hope I can help someone else!

I fully agree with u Paula. Some Unscruplous people have their ads flashing all across the internet, scamming naive people and charging their credit cards month after month.. till they dont cancel their credit cards. What surprises me is that such ads are promoted even in CPA networks, where affiliates are promoting them endlessly without realising the harm they are doing to the common man.
