看你把这个 recording 用在什么地方了， 如果不是作为 court里

的证据， 有什么 legal 不 legal 的？？？

这个不是 telephone conversation， 如果是 telephone 的话， 在 recording 前要让对方知道你在 recording （such as something like: this conversation will be recorded for xxxx purpose).

当然 recording a private conversation without the other party knowing is not the right thing to do anyway。
