Here is my version for your reference. Yesterday,
all six funny guys (眼冒金星, zha he, digits....eagle, and pig..) were not around when I was on the forum.
It was boring without these funny guys around, so I left earlier.

First, I would like to thank you and our senior management for giving me this opportunity to manage a department. It is an important milestone in my career development.
I have been in this company for many years. I know our businesses, projects, and people very well. I view this as a big advantage for me to manage this department. I have been promoted for a year. I would like to share you with my side story.
Upon the promotion, I started to focus on how to lead my department success and how to support our company business objectives. My views are that these objectives can be achieved through flawless execution of projects on time and under budget. Another point I tried to promote was the individual accountability, which is the way to minimize project recycling and project cost.
With these guidelines, and my advantages of knowing businesses, projects, and people skills, and my hardworking on adapting my new management role, our department did have significant achievements. (See attachment).
I would appreciate it very much if you can consider a re-evaluation on my performance, and elaborate your expectations on this job role and suggestions of the areas I can work on. Thus, I will do my best and work towards to fulfilling them. If you think it’s necessarily, I can set a work plan and follow up with you to better achieve the company’s goals as well as improve my own personal performance.
