谢谢大家对这件事的关心,我们这个OM大妈也算HR Manager, (让一个有歧视的人管人事?没办法,公司不大,OM就是打杂,但是这个打杂还要欺负人,仗着我的director跟她一伙)。我们公司是这样结构,CFO管Director of Finance, Director of Finance管我和OM。CFO来公司一年多, 做事认真,与懒散的Director of Finance及OM风格迥异,所以他们也不喜欢CFO,CFO也嫌Director of Finance工作效率低,可又不能怎么着,因为在CFO招来之前,都是Director of Finance在做CFO现在做的工作。
同事们除我和另外一个美国长大的亚裔男性,青一色白人。我开始还觉得大家没那么gossip很好,可后来OM总是找事,例如我的手机响了,她自言自语说,it's so loud.别人手机很响而且铃声很怪的,她也评论,但是是奉承类的。

不想再让他们明里暗里欺负我了,打算发e-mail给Director of Finance, OM并CC给CFO以下内容, 大家对语气及语言组织上给些意见。谢了。

I have some concerns about the policy for working at home, sick leave and
vacation. Can you please help to check it up?

I noticed that I have been counted as 1-day sick leave on (date), while
actually I worked from home. There were also several business email communications between xx,xx,xx (diector of finance, cfo, outside service consultant) on that day, and other stuffs could also show I worked that day.

OM may not know it because she only got my e-mail saying I was sick and
could work from home but didn’t know I did work that day.

On (date), I called Jen and you that I would take one day sick leave because
my baby was sick, but it was counted as 1-day vacation. When I asked
the reason, I was told that my sick leave balance is negative and it could
not be allowed deducting from sick leave account, and it should be deducted
from my vacation account as company’s policy. I was not aware of this policy before, so I read the employee handbook about sick leave, but I couldn’t find this rule. Is this a new company policy since I have also seen other people have even more negative balance? Also, my negative sick-leave day balance (-0.24) is also partially due to those 8 hours being deducted for 3/30/09, which actually I worked from home. In order to avoid further misunderstanding, could you please explain me what’s the rule for working at home, sick leave and vacation?
